The Buddha incense offering ceremony and the prayer for the blessings of Amitabha Buddha to support this sacred project, which is a place of Buddhist practice of the path of purification towards the perfect attainment of enlightenment for all beings
The path to liberation in Buddhism is fundamentally within the mind. Fellow practitioners must make a genuine personal effort, and the path of purification is no exception. Just like how a large stone can be floated on water with a boat, but transporting the stone onto the boat requires personal effort, attaining the ten one-pointed recollections and the salvation of the Buddha requires a process of diligent cultivation and accumulation of merits. As other traditions have influenced the doctrine of purification, particularly the notion of "Self-Power Pure Land" that emphasizes the importance of individual effort, the path of purification has become more self-reliant.

With the mission of propagating the true Dharma and maintaining the sacred network of Buddhism, and with the aspiration to create favorable conditions for all Buddhist practitioners to rely on the blessed land of the Buddha, the incomparable power of the Three Jewels, and to follow the 48 great vows of Amitabha Buddha, Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda initiated the construction of the 48-7 Buddha Recitation Hall. This spiritual space, built for the general public with sincere hearts and a desire to cultivate blessings with the Dharma, will allow for the practice of purification and recitation of Buddha's name. It is expected that by 2023, the 48-5, 48-6, and 48-7 Buddha Recitation Halls will be completed and put into use, welcoming fellow practitioners to Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda for collective practice and residence.
Buddhists, fellow practitioners, and people attend and pray prayerfully
It is not only desirable for Buddhists who come to Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen to study the 48 great vows of Amitabha Buddha, but also to follow the 12 prayers of Avalokiteshvara bodhisattva, develop a strong mind, diligently practice, cut the layers of predestination, subdue transformation, and purify the body of mind. That is also the cause and reason that in the near future, Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen will continue to expand the practice space and put into use 12 Buddha Recitation Halls from 48-1 to 48-12.

On the same morning, the ceremony of offering incense and praying for the spirits of deceased relatives who are usually present at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen was solemnly held at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Palace. During the ceremony, the attendees expressed their gratitude and respect, sincerely relying on the power of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and prayed for his compassionate heart to use his divine power to relieve the suffering of the deceased spirits, ancestors, relatives and past loved ones, so that they may return to the Buddha's refuge.
After the ceremony, the spirits were returned to take refuge at 48-1 Buddha Recitation Hall. With all their hearts, the devotees and family members prayed for the Three Jewels to protect their loved ones so that they could recite the Buddha's name, make offerings to the Buddha, and practice diligently every day, in order to be reborn in the Western Pure Land as soon as possible.
