The Assembly welcomed the presence of venerable monks and nuns, the monastic delegation from Thang Nghiem Monastery, and over 2,000 Buddhist followers and benevolent people from all over the country.The assembly was solemnly organized to honor and remember those who passed away during the pandemic, wholeheartedly praying for the departed souls to be soon liberated and reborn in a peaceful realm. The event also aimed to help soothe the pain and losses that still lingered in the hearts of those left behind and the families who lost their loved ones in the pandemic.

The Great Ceremony of Bodhisattva's Birthday and the Great Ceremony of Offering Prayers for Victims of the Covid-19 pandemic, organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Da Huoai District, Lam Dong Province, would take place continuously for 5 days from August 24th to 28th (Lunar July 27th, 28th, and 29th and August 1st and 2nd, the Year of the Tiger) at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda (National Highway 20, Damri Town, Da Huoai District, Lam Dong Province).
