REGULATIONS OF
DAI TUNG LAM HOA SEN 


Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen is a place for fellow initiates to come and practice according to the Pure Land Dharma, and is a great victory for fellow associates to let go of all their predestined relationships to recite the Buddha's name to seek rebirth in the West  Extreme Bliss.

A. General regulation

For the above purpose, fellow initiates must adhere to the following rules and regulations:

  General Regulation:

Article 1:  Provide identification documents, declare personal identity according to the form of the DLTHS..
Article 2:  Must keep the four positions, dignified and pure (walking, standing, lying down, sitting).
Article 3:  Dress discreetly, politely, do not wear jewelry, do not use perfume, cosmetics.
Article 4:  Have good health, do not carry infectious diseases.
Article 5:  Always put your phone on silent mode.
Article 6:  Actively participate in the daily cooperation as assigned by the person in charge.
Article 7:  Do not access the bedroom and toilet area of the opposite sex.
Article 8:  Limit contact with people of the opposite sex, when necessary to communicate, keep a reasonable distance with a moderate and dignified attitude.
Article 9:  Obey the rules about sleeping, resting and waking up time.
Article 10:  Do not spread superstitious activities.
Article 11:  Do not discuss world affairs, politics or other religions..
Article 12:  When you need to talk to fellow practitioners, speak kindly.
Article 13:  Do not practice or propagate things contrary to the provisions of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen.
Article 14:  Shoes and slippers must be neatly arranged. 
Article 15: All personal belongings must be neatly packed in the cabinet.
Article 16:  Do not smoke, do not use alcoholic beverages, five spices and banned substances..
Article 17:  Do not eat rice and other foods in the sleeping area.
Article 18:  Do not bring weapons, flammable and explosive materials, sharp objects (knife, scissors...) 
Article 19:  Maintain general hygiene, classify garbage, dispose of garbage in the right place.
Article 20:  Self-preservation of personal property.
Article 21:  Do not move and damage Gia Lam's furniture (If damaged, compensation must be paid).

B. Separate regulations

The ashram is divided into 2 zones, including the Restricted Zone and the Free Zone.

  Restricted Area

The restricted area (belonging to the interior area) is an area including Quan Am Radio, Dia Tang Palace, Gia Lam Palace, Co Sau Palace and Mr.Tuong Van's room. Except in the case of accompanying with people on duty, fellow initiates who come here for the first time are kindly requested not to visit this area.

  Free Zone - Canteen

Article 1:  Do not retreat into the cooking area when not authorized.
Article 2:  Line up when getting food and get enough food.
Article 3:  Self-cleaning, cleaning up objects after use

  Buddha's Recitation Hall

Article 1:  Respecting the Three Guards, standing dignified when reciting the Amitabha Sutra and bowing to the Buddha.
Article 2:  Keep the dignified and pure of the Ashram.
Article 3:  Uphold and practice the spirit of peace and harmony.
Article 4:  Attend all 4 sessions per day, unless absences have been allowed.
Article 5:  Follow the instructions of the leader.
Article 6:  Wear Hai Thanh robes and socks according to regulations when entering Buddha's Recitation Hall.
Article 7:  Know how to arrange and rotate the bodhisattva, ceremony, amnesty, walking meditation (4 words for traditional Dharma practice, 6 words for common ground practice). 
Article 8:  Do not bring personal items and drinking water into the Buddha’s Recitation Hall.
Article 9:  Don't talk privately when participating in the practice.
Article 10:  Fellow initiates are allowed to attend with approval of the Management Board.

  Sleeping Place

Article 1:  When sleeping, initiates turn their heads to the Buddha's Recitation Hall.
Article 2:  Fellow initiates keep quiet, do not talk, turn on the machine to recite the Buddha's name or listen to the Dharma to affect them during the break from 12:30 to 13:30 and from 21:30 to 03:45 the next day.
Article 3:  Do not bring food and drink into the public living area (put in the bed).

  Guests House 

As a place to receive guests, used in common with hygiene.

  Auditorium

It is a place where learning activities and meetings take place. Fellow initiates are allowed to attend with the approval of the Management Board.

C. SANCTION REGULATION

Depending on the time of violating the regulations, fellow initiates will be subject to sanctions with specific levels as follows:

The first time: The Management Board privately reminded, initiates repented by themselves during the weekly review sessions.

Second time: The Management Board privately reminded, initiates repented by themselves during the weekly review sessions.

Third time: The Management Board privately reminds, initiates repent themselves in weekly review sessions and bow to Buddha for 30 minutes.

Fourth time: Meeting them to review and make a decision on disciplinary action. If deemed serious and difficult to change, they will be kicked out of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen.
