Great Ceremony of Bodhisattva King Kṣitigarbha & Great Prayer Ceremony for people who died during the Covid-19 pandemic
On the morning of August 25th (Lunar July 28th, the year of the Rat), Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Dak Huoai District, Lam Dong Province solemnly organized the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Grand Vesak Celebration and Grand Memorial Service for Covid-19 Victims at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda.

The Great Ceremony of Bodhisattva's Birthday and the Great Ceremony of Offering Prayers for Victims of the Covid-19 pandemic, organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Da Huoai District, Lam Dong Province, would take place continuously for 5 days from August 24th to 28th (Lunar July 27th, 28th, and 29th and August 1st and 2nd, the Year of the Tiger) at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda.

At this assembly, the presiding abbot performed a ceremony to pray for more than 11,000 incense souls, hoping that the spirits would rely on Buddha's power, sutras, and prayers to soon be reborn. Everyone sat down in the shadow of Buddhism, reciting the Ksitigarbha Sutra with one heart praying and dedicating merit to the unfortunate souls who passed away during the recent pandemic, suffering, sentient beings, and their deceased relatives to be reborn in the good realm.

We cordially invite all Buddhists and friends to view the reportage film about the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Grand Vesak Celebration and Grand Memorial Service for Covid-19 Victims:
