Basing on mass power to cultivate Buddha - Transforming Ignorance into Enlightenment
Attending the Pure Land Retreat at the end of December 2022 on the occasion of the Enlightenment of Shakyamuni Buddha, which is also the anniversary of the opening of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen, Buddhists and fellow practitioners all understood the good fate and immeasurable blessings when they practiced the Pure Land dharma thanks to the mass power and the blessing of the Three Jewels, the Western Three Buddhas.


Practicing the Pure Land is the great fate - Believing in the Pure Land is the great blessing

Shakyamuni Buddha taught sentient beings for 49 years, during the five Eightfold Dynasties he preached the Three Sisters Buddha or Amitabha Pure Land. The Venerable taught the Buddha's teachings very clearly: Reciting the Buddha, contemplating the Buddha's remembrance or mentioning the merits of reciting the Buddha. The most important thing he taught the shravakas was to introduce the Pure Land Dharma for a lifetime to achieve liberation from birth and death. If people can hear and believe this one sentence Namo Amitabha Buddha and have accumulated many blessings and blessings for many lifetimes, they will be able to meet, listen and uphold the Dharma door in Pure Land.


Nearly 300 Buddhists and fellow practitioners from the ashrams in Ho Chi Minh, Binh Phuoc, Dak Nong, Dong Nai, and Lam Dong and the Pure Land community at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen

In the Sangha Sutra, the Buddha also taught: "There is one dharma, bhikkhus, which are cultivated, fulfilled, brought to a certain direction of boredom, separation, destruction, tranquility, victory, enlightenment, and Nirvana. What is a dharma? It is this one dharma, these bhikkhus, that are cultivated, made prolific, leading to the direction of boredom, separation, destruction, tranquility, victory, enlightenment, and nirvana".  

Studying at the dignified and pure ashram, every Buddhist can live in the Dharma path of the Tathagata

"In the age of hundreds of millions of cultivators, there is hardly a single person to attain enlightenment", because sentient beings are living in the evil realm of Saha. Their spirit is weak due to karma created from countless lives to the present. On the boat to find the Right, sentient beings are forever drifting in the depths of suffering, unable to eliminate ignorance - greed, anger, si, evil, doubt, man, ant. Even if there is no memorial, sentient beings must return to reincarnation in the six paths. Only the Buddha's dharma will hope to pass through the sea of birth and death, so that when he dies, he will be born in the realm of pure Ultimate Bliss. 


Pure incarnation of the mind – Resting in awareness and mindfulness 

In retreat times, the mass has heard the words of the layman Le Phuoc Vu (Dharma name Tuong Van) - the founder and builder of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen to thoroughly understand the teachings of the Buddha about the Pure Land practice. 


Supported by the masses, the entire ashram has practiced diligently at all times

Gathering under the dignified and pure Sangharama, the Pure Land practitioners in general, the Pure Land Buddhists in Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen in particular, not only rely on the great compassion and vow of Amitabha Buddha but also the diligent heart and mind of the masses to join the Buddhist community. Each person strictly practiced firmly, firmly believed, and reverently prayed for rebirth to the realm of Amitabha Buddha.  


Every step they take to practice, the masses are mindful of the Buddha, and they imagine themselves walking to the Western Pure Land

They temporarily put aside the daily busyness, the suffering, and the rush in the middle of life and practiced letting go of the layers of grace to listen to the purity in every moment. Since then, each Buddhist and fellow practitioner gradually transformed and purified their own mind under the light of the immeasurable aura of the ten-direction Buddhas.  In the last retreat of 2022 at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen, the masses seemed to be energized with peaceful and cool energy for peace of mind and insight to welcome a new day of the new year 2023 with peace and keep walking on their spiritual path. 

After hours of diligent practice, everyone's faces exude boundless joy and happiness when they are contemplating together in the last course of 2022

All the merits, tranquility, and purity of the retreat times of the day, the whole ashram is directed to all suffering beings in the void of the dharma realm, to the nine ancestors, to many generations, the spirits that are all taken refuge in the Pure Land, and practice to the Knowledge of Liberation, free from samsara, and pray to be reborn in the Western Ultimate Bliss.
