With firm faith, the entire ashram respectfully prayed to recite the Buddha's
name throughout their lives, always keeping their mind focused on the Pure Land
and following the compassionate and wise teachings of the Compassionate Father.
They deeply believed and firmly vowed to practice the Threefold Refuge - Faith,
Conduct, and Aspiration - to attain peace in the present and rebirth in the
Western Pure Land after leaving this world. They also vowed to help all
sentient beings attain enlightenment and find the path to ultimate liberation.
Immediately after the ritual ceremony, hundreds of Buddhist practitioners gathered to attend the ceremony of the birthday of the Great Buddha Amitabha at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda, lighting up the Pure Land of the human world in a sacred and solemn atmosphere, which all Buddhists aspire to experience when returning from the night of flower lanterns.
During the Light Transmission Ceremony, each practitioner received a sacred flame from the Buddha's Tower and passed it on, hand in hand, to others in the assembly.
Each flower lantern symbolizes the enlightened wisdom of Buddha Amitabha, and the light of Dharma illuminates and is transmitted to every Buddhist practitioner.
Holding the Dharma torch in their hands - the source of the brilliant wisdom light of the Buddha, the entire ashram walked in unison, chanting the six-syllable mantra "Namo Amitabha Buddha," lighting up their firm faith, awakening the source of wisdom and expanding their own Buddha-nature, so that each person always has the Buddha present.
Thus, the mind of liberating all sentient beings from suffering is transmitted to all ten directions, so that all can light up the lamp of compassion and wisdom, following the deep and profound teachings of the Compassionate Father, to be guided to the path of happiness, liberation, and ultimate liberation.
The title of Compassionate Father also shineed brightly, appearing before the main hall of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Temple. The golden path of the Buddha is transmitted to all ten directions, so that all can light up the lamp of compassion and wisdom, with firm faith, perseverance, and diligent practice of the Buddha's teachings, reciting the Buddha's name, and firmly pursuing the path to rebirth in the Western Pure Land.
Each flower lantern is shaped like the characters for "Ten Thousand" and the title of Compassionate Father, symbolizing the reverence for all Buddhas and the unwavering faith of every practitioner in the Pure Land
The Light Transmission Ceremony ended with the resounding sound of chanting "Namo Amitabha Buddha," bringing joy and happiness to the entire assembly.
