In order for Buddhists and people to better understand the meaning of the symbolic Logo of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda, the Board of Directors would like to answer in detail as follows:

1. The word "Van” (卐): Represents the merit of the Buddha "Ethics - Dignified - Auspicious".The letter 卐 is one of the 32 good signs indicating the perfect auspicious that only the Buddha can converge. Thereby speaking the meaning of complete enlightenment of the Buddha. The reason why the word 卐 appears in the center of the Buddha's chest is symbolic of the Ly Trung Dao, not stuck on either side, beyond the opposite.

2. Wheel of Dharma (also known as the wheel of Buddha Dharma): This is considered one of the most important symbols of Buddhism, which means the Dharma, the teaching from the Buddha. The wheel of Dharma represents the Dharma for the Buddha Dharma to be propagated, the network of the Buddha Dharma is passed on, and is generous to all sentient beings. The wheel of the Dharma wheel is always spinning, which means that the teachings and meanings of the Buddhadharma are always alive, always passed down from generation to generation, generous to all sentient beings.

3. Eight-petaled lotus: Symbolizes the Eightfold Path of Buddhism - Eight wonderful means to bring beings to establish a peaceful life right now, and at the same time get closer to liberation and enlightenment, in order to preserve the body - mouth - mind is always pure and clear. It is also the lotus flower in the World of Ultimate Bliss, representing the Dharma for Dai Tung Lam Pagoda, the Lotus Temple with the practice of Pure Land Buddhism.

4. The word "Om" - [ॐ]: Written in ancient Sanskrit characters in the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" - The wisdom essence of all Buddhas. In it, "Om" both symbolizes the body, speech and wisdom of a pure Buddha, and has an all-encompassing meaning. When the word ॐ is integrated in the logo of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen, it also means that all people who come to practice will be enlightened to the teachings of the Buddha.

With all the above-mentioned meanings, the Board of Directors sincerely wishes that the people who come to practice at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen are "lotus friends" with each other, all of them cultivate the mind of Bodhi, all of them agree to return Amitabha Buddha's Ultimate Bliss World.
